SLOW BURN, 2022
Slow Burn (Quema Lenta), an exhibition held in the southern embassy sector of Brasilia in May-June 2022, had been conceived to accompany several events on deforestation and climate change. Partly pictural travelogue of recent trips through Brazil's Cerrado, Pantanal and Amazon biomes, and partly love message to the country's capital city, it also included previously shown works like “Shades of Bromo” (below) and “Cerrado”, a series of 8 24x24cm oil-on-canvas paintings.

CHASING DRAGONS, 2017
Chasing Dragons explores the similarities and differences between painter and ceramic artist and their mediums; their connect and disconnect. The exhibition is the result of the two artists in conversation, a brief and profound encounter before continuing with their nomadic lives. It is also a collaborative work on the theme of a Conversation between a Painter and a Potter. Siobhan's work is an artistic voyage in search of the illusive dragons of Komodo through the spectacular landscapes of Indonesia, that are represented in large oil on canvas paintings. It is also a critique of man's endless quest for "more" and his search for metaphorical and mythological "dragons" which represent both greed and brutality in an uncertain world.

FORGOTTEN FACES, 1914 - 2014
Forgotten Faces, Series II, is a personal study of common and extraordinary people. Each series of three 15x15 cm “snapshot” paintings shows persons whose lives have been inextricably linked, be it by legacy or influence, by random encounters or accidents-of-birth. The series looks at relationships between contemporary individuals, with the understanding that being “connected” has become a defining notion in our modern world.

Forgotten Faces, Series I, revisits conventional perceptions of women, often portrayed in literature and visual arts as one-dimensional characters, i.e. sinner or saint. This series of works aspires to depict the complexity of women beyond the historical stereotype: martyr and murderess, model and creator, conformist and trailblazer.
